Queen Elizabeth delivers hopeful Christmas message amid COVID-19 pandemic

Queen Elizabeth II reflected on the difficulties of the past year in her Christmas message, but also delivered a message of hope, amid a pandemic that has altered much of the way we live our lives.

The Queen said in a year that “has necessarily kept people apart,” people around the world have, “in many ways” been brought close together.
She spoke about how she has been inspired by volunteers who have donated their time and resources to help people in need.
