Coronavirus: Ontario confirms 1st cases of new COVID-19 variant in Canada
Ontario confirmed Canada's first known cases of a new COVID-19 variant that was first identified in the U.K. but has been found in various countries including Belgium and Australia.
The province made the announcement on Saturday, saying that the two cases were from the Greater Toronto Area and had no known travel history, exposure or high-risk contacts and are in self-isolation.
